SJEB and Rush merging for 05' and 04'. Could be some strong teams developing. Anyone know when tryouts are?

Anonymous said...

SJEB Rush will definitely have a quality 05 team, having seen the talent on both sides firsthand. However, a good alternative to SJEB Rush might be FC Copa South, especially for families in South Jersey. They train and play games at Rowan University, and many of the coaches are from Rowan. The 05 coach in the Fall was excellent. Apparently, they are changing their payment structure to spread out payments throughout the whole year too.

Anonymous said...

The Rush 05 team now is pretty strong. They have a nice mix of girls and an established full time keeper which is rare at 05. The FC Copa group is up and coming. Both teams practice about 20 min from each other. The coaches from Rowen are great for FC Copa but they also coach Rush teams as well. The scales tip toward Rush since it is an established National Club with big resources. Looking at Got Soccer, looks like the Rush 05 played Wags and is playing Jeff Cup in a few weeks. With the SJEB merge into Rush the pool of talent will double and the 05's will be stronger then ever.

NJ Stallions 05 won DTS Tourney beating both Watchung Hills tms easy.

Anonymous said...

NJ Stallions is a great team... Looking forward to playing them again this Spring.

Anonymous said...

SJEB just got creamed by PDA B team, 7-0.

Anonymous said...

SJEB has two teams and pda at least 3. What teams are you referring to?

Anonymous said...

looks like SJEB Fiorenta Vs PD Shore Flash but that game was back in the fall. PDA won 7-0

Anonymous said...

PDA Strikers are da bomb

Anonymous said...

What happened today with the strikers?
Is tne score correct, 5 to 0 loss to pipeline.

Anonymous said...

5-0 Strikers.

Anonymous said...

SJEB 05 Lost to the PDA Sounders in first round of State Cup 7-0 on 3/10/17

Anonymous said...

That was the SJEB B team.

Anonymous said...

I believe The Sounders are PDA's B team as well

Anonymous said...

Wow. The Strikers really dominated Jeff cup. What makes the team so good? Is it the same team from last year or are there a lot of new players.

Anonymous said...

Since the age change, the Strikers got rid of some major parent problems and have talent across the board...they play as a team and the coach can coach without distractions. Great talent working together.. that's it

Anonymous said...

I have seen the Strikers play twice and they play beyond their years. Comfortable playing forward and backwards, there is always an option and if there isn't one they play it into space down the wing. On D they pressure and win the ball back, fast. It's pretty obvious to an outsider like myself that this is not something new, it started at an early age. The distractions couldn't have been to bad.

NJ Rush > PDA Strikers

Anonymous said...

Is NJ Rush any good? Did they play the Strikers?

Anonymous said...

11:17 is just trying to stir the pot. Nice try.

Anonymous said...

RUSH V. Strikers... Here is the deal. Geographically, two different parts of NJ, north and south. Both teams are good. Strikers is at a different level though, they play like they are a very strong 04' team not 05'. They have some rockstars on that team. Rush is a younger team, they have some 06's. Both teams are coached very well. But, for training I would lean toward Rush. Rush does not have the turnover rate that haunts PDA. Coaches stay. Now this is not for every PDA coach but on the younger side they seem to have a high turnover rate. PDA seems to draw players of a higher caliber, but Rush trains them into a higher caliber. If your daughter is a 05 and attends the NTC monthly then Strikers would be a possible tryout location. If your daughter is a stronger player but not at NTC level yet, Rush is a great place to get the skills to achieve that next level. Both programs are strong and both programs grow great players. Both are equally successful. Rush is bigger, biggest soccer program in the world. 44k players. PDA is NJ. It all depends what your looking for. If your looking to say who the best 05' team in NJ is, then I would say Strikers. If your looking for a top 10 team in NJ and if you're in the southern part of the state then look at Rush. Very hard to compare, two entirely different levels.

Anonymous said...

3:29 you're 100% right. Strikers is a better team then Rush but Strikers are better then most 04' teams. Strikers are a national level team. If someone was stirring the pot then they got the answer, and if it was a PDA parent on that team then its typical PDA parent BS "we are the best and I need to hear it!" Umm, we know your daughters team is great. Congratulations, hope they don't burn out before 8th grade and not get to verbally commit to playing Rutgers. LOL!!

Anonymous said...

@ 3:29pm sorry for a dumb question but what is the NTC again

Anonymous said...

Outside of PDA, what are the top 5 2005 teams in NJ?

Anonymous said...

Screamers are a top 5 team.

Anonymous said...

PDA is the clear #1

Stallions are the clear #2.

next 5 tms or so are about equal to each other

Anonymous said...

Click here for Liverpool - NJ Tryout page

Anonymous said...

Strikers are feeling pretty down right now...

Anonymous said...

Yeah some of the so-called superstars on the team think they are going to actually play up on the academy team next year but they can't even make an impact vs teams that we will face in Pre-ECNL. I'll see you sitting the bench with 8th graders while we defend our Jeff Cup title and win the new league!

Anonymous said...

PDA Strikers are a great team, but like all great teams sometimes egos get in the way. To play up on that particular DA will not be difficult for some of the Striker players. Funny thing is it looks like one of their own posted that. So their is a definite division on that team. I guess things never change for Strikers. Don't worry parents you still have a year or more before Rutgers offers a verbal commitment to the entire team!

Anonymous said...

Rutgers? That's hilarious. Slow down and focus on beating B level cubs from the middle of nowhere before you all play in the Big 10,

Anonymous said...

Did you get your FC Copa south invitation yet for next year?

Anonymous said...

Is that a joke?

Anonymous said...

PDA Sounders just beat the Stallions 2-1, How can the Stallions be the clear #2?

It s the Strikers and hen everyone else...

Anonymous said...

At this age.. any player can have a bad day! What 11/12 year is on the ball 100% of the time?! None. Some are more consistent than others.

People are nuts!!!!

and NO not a parent from any of those teams.

Anonymous said...

Where will pda play the ecnl games out of next year? With Rutgers coach taking over south could it be down there?

Anonymous said...

PDA home ECNL & Pre-ECNL games will be played where they always are:
Saturday's in Zarephath(North) and Sundays at Westampton. NJ(South)

anon said...

anyone's daughter participating in the NJYS 2005 ODP Young Olympians?

any feedback? For those participating in it, are you doing the day camp and the July 3-days camp?

Anonymous said...

EDP CUP -

NJ Stallions vs Alleycats

NJ Elite vs Pipeline

Should be a good semis/final

Anonymous said...

Pipeline should come out on top. Great team, and a nice group of parents as well. Always a pleasure to play.

Anonymous said...

That's why they play the games!

Anonymous said...

Pda Strikers watch out. NJ Rush team has gotten soooo much stronger via tryouts. They will be the team to beat moving forward just like the 2002 NJ Rush team is in that age group

Anonymous said...

I don't think PDA has anything to worry about, especially the Strikers. Rush is a good team, but not at the Striker level. Nice thought though. Sounds like a parent on the Rush team had a few to many last night and had grand illusions for next season.

Anonymous said...

Hope they picked up a ton of talent. Just lost to west morris a month ago, 3-0

Anonymous said...

@10:40 Just let the Strikers know when you want that beating to take place.

Anonymous said...

How did the PDA North tryouts go last night?

Anonymous said...

Look out for that TSF Team they just dominated the Souders in the NJ Cup last weekend.
Where are they based out of? Very obnoxious parents though....

Anonymous said...

Anyone know if PDA put offers out yet?

Anonymous said...

PDA offers have gone out.

Anonymous said...

EDP CUP FINAL

NJ STALLIONS - 3 PIPELINE - 2

Anonymous said...

Does anybody know how the Sounders vs Strikers game turned out Saturday night?

Anonymous said...

Sounders =kick & run

Anonymous said...

1:29 - Haven't seen the Sounders play in a while have ya? A "kick and run" team doesn't finish 6-0 in the top flight of EDP.

Anonymous said...

Sure they can. Especially at 12 yrs old

Anonymous said...

They have also beaten decisively, every team in NJ/NY/PA that was good. Except for the Strikers of course. Not a kick and run team.....

Anonymous said...

Beat stallions w/o their best player and lost to tsf. Now your 2nd best tm in region haha

Anonymous said...

Stallions are overrated and so is their "best" player. Strikers have all the talent. Everyone else in Jersey is a B team.

Anonymous said...

The overrated Stallions won FC Delco top flight. Soon to be top 10 in country

Anonymous said...

B team champs

Anonymous said...

1:24 Yeah but they still can not beat the PDA "B" team.......

top 10 in the country......not even close.

You should try playing the Strikers, once you beat the Sounders...

Anonymous said...

Sounders lol. Can't even beat TSF who went 0-3 at Delco. One lucky win and you're pounding your chest. What a joke. Stallions beats Sounders 8 out of 10 times.

Anonymous said...

What does TSF mean?

Anonymous said...

LOL Sounds like sour grapes my friend.....

You should just be happy with a solid tournament win this weekend. Stallions must have had their "Star Payer" there this weekend....

Anonymous said...

The F in TSF stands for factory. I don't know what the other letters stand for. They should get a better name for a soccer team

Anonymous said...

LOL....sounds like your bitter with the top 10 ranking haha.

Its OK, maybe your daughter can get to the top tm one of these yrs.

Anonymous said...

Oh not bitter... I would rather my daughter play on any PDA team whether it is the A, B, or C team over playing for the stallions any day my friend.

Good Luck next year..... I am sure our daughters will see each other. Have a great summer and keep living in those rankings!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yes because PDA is so greeeeaaaatttt. Have fun getting demoted to the all mighty C tm haha

top 10 !!!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone have any information about A-Game? Are they a Camp? Club? any good?

Thanks...

Anonymous said...

Agame is an all girls training program that focuses on foot skills, style, flair, etc. Danny Vedder runs the program and is amazing. He does put together teams of his best girls that play in tournaments. Usually his teams win.

Great job today Average-Game with your 2005 team. We know they looked better than the other teams even though they lost 2-4 and 0-6. The flair and style was such a pleasure to watch. Ha. #fraud.

Anonymous said...

Who did A-gm play?

Anonymous said...

Some crappy EDP tourney at Fort Dix. They played in the U13 in the second flight. Got beat bad twice. Not sure why they are playing up other than to fuel their coaches massive ego. They are a decent team in U12 but far from the best. Have not had strong results in tournaments. Seems foolish and selfish.

Anonymous said...

Wow, Monday morning hatin on Agame. He has a good program for girls to learn and grow but I don't think anyone expects them to be the be all end all of girls soccer. His 06 team didn't do well either but who cares

Anonymous said...

Agreed. A good development program is what parents should want for their girls. They need a safe environment where they are not afraid of making mistakes. I'm really tired of the always win mentality. It puts too much pressure on kids. They should learn to love the game and a good coach will do teach that.

Anonymous said...

Pda strikers won the EDP summer classic! they even played a year up in the top bracket and came #1

Anonymous said...

They got bossed in the final, were never ahead, and only won on PKs. Not to mention the ref was in their pocket, actually cheering them on saying they were the better team during the game.

Anonymous said...

So I guess the final score means nothing in games---hmmmm that makes sense?????? So I guess the Falcons should be Super Bowl Champs too--totally outplayed the Patriots but lost the game. Stop using the refs as an excuse also, maybe have your coach and parents be a little more human and not so hostile and maybe some things might go your way. (no class BTW) People need to just chill out, its 13u soccer (12u for the Strikers and making the transition). Both teams are good and some games will fall either way. Let the girls play and learn as they go. I'm sure the girls on either side of the ball are acting more mature about the games than some of the parents are.

Anonymous said...

Cry me a river

Anonymous said...

Of course the end result is all that matters and every team has to deal with bad refs. But if PDA is so super special as everyone claims they should be able to dominate a small club team at a local tournament, even playing a year up. In PDA's defense they are still getting adjusted to 12 v 12 and will probably get better in time.

Anonymous said...

that "small club team" from PA playing in a local tournament is still the 2017 Eastern Penn. State Cup Champs, ranked 34 nationally and a Jeff Cup Finalist. They are obviously a very strong team with a good coach and have played together for some time. lets not put PDA down for beating them and lets not diminish their standing to make a point

Average Game you are the biggest fraud. Your teams took a BEATING today. I know one of them played up. Yada yada yada. Why? You really must have braInwashed those parents. I love your quotes today after the bad losses. You must understand the process. Who are you the 76ers. One always has to sell the future when there is no now. #usedcarsalesman. #refund.

Anonymous said...

Yea but they did 100 step overs and scissors, dont they get a goal for that?

Anonymous said...

Ha. And with their head down. Seriously he must be brainwashing these parents. What parent and kid wants to drive to Fort Dix for those results. Spin it anyway you want. Losing isn't fun and kids will quit. The first thing college coaches say is knock it off with the wasted movement.

Anonymous said...

Results were bad for 05 agame this weekend. They were playing up with top 04 competition. agame and stallions coach are pals - teams scrimmage a few weeks back and agame won 3-1. They should compete with the best in their age group.

Anonymous said...

Really. You must be one of the braInwashed parents. First of all when he did coach the team before he got fired they were mediocre at best. Go look at their big tournament results from the fall. Stallions much better and their top girl has been playing up and now going to the DA to play up. Not in the same league. #smokeandmirrors #checkyourfacts

Anonymous said...

What club are they playing for in the fall?

Anonymous said...

Top stallions player is going to play for PDA 04 now?

Anonymous said...

Not PDA

Anonymous said...

What club are the summer A-Gamers playing for in the fall? Must be some wealth kids to afford all those kits.

Anonymous said...

@2:34 If not PDA, who else is DA?

Anonymous said...

Could be cedar stars or NYC FC

Anonymous said...

@10:17. That's funny 3-1. 3 starters played.

Anonymous said...

Exactly. These guys are clueless and have been sold a bunch of garbage by A-Game. They look the part with the fancy uniforms and fancy moves. It's like the basketball team that is doing crazy dunks in warmups and when the game begins they can't play. All one on one and zero basics, no fundamentals and can't shoot.

Anonymous said...

If only 3 starters played that would mean the roster has 19 kids. That doesn't seem accurate. Stallions best player didn't play and apparently going to DA, wonder if the stallions team knows that info - seems like fake news.

Anonymous said...

Believe what you want. There is a world of difference between he two teams and the results they have achieved. That is a fact. As for the girl why don't u ask Cryer. She was at the DA orientation where you tr on uniform sizes and take pictures. But u know best.

Anonymous said...

Why so much hate for A-Game? I haven't followed the old tread but seems a bit much for a team that most people don't know about. lol

Anonymous said...

Here's an educational post. Agame is a training company but the guy has 2 teams that play for him now. These teams are not new, they have been following him over the years. They were stallions then nj crush. The history with these two teams (stallions and agame) goes way back. Stallions players used to play for agame guy, the two coaches go way back, players , etc . Both teams have good talent.

Anonymous said...

Where are the summer AGame girls playing for in the fall?

To all my Average Gamers a message to you all before your games this weekend. Remember it’s all about you. Play selfish. Don’t pass. See how many teammates and parents on your own team you can anger. Don’t forget to keep dribbling with your head down. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose it’s how many step overs and nutmegs you can do in the game. Make sure you are the player that no when else wants to play with. #smokeandmirrors
