P's Lyon 4 crush 2 last time with 0 to o at half and crush up 2 to 1 for about 39 in so get facts straight it's Ok we know you need a hug from all those beatings you took as a kid and from being cut from the ymca teams that everyone who signed up made hopefully by the time you 50 u will find some peace in your life and can look back and enjoy these times you already truly a lonely man who talks about 9 and 10 year old girls who are or were your teammates wow!!

Anonymous said...

What are we talking about here? Is this about Crush and someone leaving at u10, really?

Anonymous said...

Sounds like they r talking about a guy tht left PDA then went to the barons left there n now is trying to get back on PDA after he talked badly about the teams he thinks his kid is gonna get on PDA Lyon no shot for that she isn't good enough to make our team...if your gonna leave a team at least do it the adult way n not act like a little kid about it hope u enjoy where ever u end up n who takes u

Anonymous said...

BTW, Lyon is not playing the U10 Crush team, Lyon Blue is. As far as I know Lyon is only playing a U11 schedule outside of some tournaments. Lyon Blue is a good team, probably on the backend of the top 10 in NJ at U10 or maybe 10-15.

anybody hear about a new program called South Jersey Academy? any thoughts?

Anonymous said...

There is a team called South Jersey Select that I believe is just a summer team. Decent group, but not in the conversation of the top teams or the next group. Not sure if that is the same as you are referencing.

Anonymous said...

South jersey is in the toms river area

Anonymous said...

3 good games this weekend .
Crush, voorhees , pda ....
And 646 . SJA is ran out of Berkeley
central regional area. New academy that has just started. Do not really know much about it.
Like to stick with established academys or clubs. Will wait to see.
south jersey select I think is run out of manasquan at the atlantic club. Again new and nice facilities but for the money I would rather wait to see how it goes.
I want my daughter playing on a team that will stick around not fade out in a year. These new start up academies will have to prove themselves at least to me. I want to stay in one place and let the team develop. Just my thoughts. My view , my opinion...

Anonymous said...

Anyone know how Sjeb PDA game went today

Game went well until you ate the ball you fat fag

You can't go wrong with PDA. FCNJ does a nice job at the younger ages. They have summer teams they may provide a little bit of a sampling without commiting.

Anonymous said...

Medford beat PDA on Penalty kicks.
game was well played. Pda dominated most of the game. Medford has some opportunities but did not pan out. Pda had a goal but was called back. Late offsides call by sideline ref.
Overall great game .
the penalty kicks are the worst way to win and lose.
both teams deserve congrats . ...

Anonymous said...

Copa doesn't have u8. Go with PDA. Great training. Just be aware that they cut weaker players.

Anonymous said...

Voorhees vs. Crush should be a good game.

Anonymous said...

@6:16

PDA Dominated the game? That's so comical. Medford controlled that game and you know it. They had double the scoring opportunities that PDA had. Why come on here and lie like that? And the offsides call was correct, you guys can whine all you want to and send all the protests to the NJ Cup that you want, it doesn't change the fact that Medford is simply the better TEAM. BTW, that's what linesmen are there for...to call out of bounds balls and OFFSIDES!

Anonymous said...

For the person who asked when the Medford tryouts are, they are tonight but you should know that the Medford U10 team will be playing for REAL NJSC next year.

The tryouts are Monday, May 12th at Bob Bende Field in Medford, NJ 08055 from 4:30-6. You can get further details at REALNJSC.ORG

Anonymous said...

@420. Ok medford parent. My comment was not to say who is or who is not better. It was a good game. The ref are there but does not mean they always make the right call. That call was wrong. But it doesnt matter the call stands. And who is going to protest??,PDA has moved on from that game. seems like you are being to defensive here. Why?? Cause you know the call was wrong.
Sorry u cant handle the real truth that the call back was medfords lucky day. Remember it doesnt matter how many shots it matter who hits the back of the net. So man up and just say it was a good game. Just like I did ..... they r only 10 years old . U act like they are getting checks in the mail every week. Relax its one persons opinion. Get a reality check.

@10:54

Okay PDA parent. Like I figured, you missed the point. You are so right, these kids are 9 and 10 years old so why come on here saying you dominated a game you lost? That just takes away from Medford big win. That's what sore losers in the soccer world say when they lose a game. You know it's not true so why say it? Did you see any Medford parents coming on here saying we dominated the tournament game a few weeks ago but you got lucky and tied us in the last minute? No, of course not. The offsides call was a good call, all of you were so happy to finally get a breakaway that you didn't see the linesman put the flag up immediately.

The fact of that matter is, it was a great game and you coming in here saying PDA dominated it, is disingenuous to all of the kids that played. Just man up (or should I say woman up) and admit it.

Stop with nonsense about receiving checks, if you want to get personal, we can do that but it's probably not a road you want to go down.

Anonymous said...

This Medford parent is out of their mind. Sounds like the Super Bowl you just played. Didnt sound like the pda parent was takking the way you think. Not sure you even know that your big win was against another below average team and the 3rd team at PDA. Move along.

Anonymous said...

Quite the contrary 8:44, I think PDA Barcelona is a great team and it was a great game. If you can't see that's how I feel you're just a troll. Barcelona is clearly the 2nd best PDA team at this age. Lyon Blue isn't close to them. Every win from the quarters on in is a big win for 10 year olds.

Anonymous said...

833.
Winning a game on penalty kicks is not a great win. Its aweful for both teams. A big win is 3 to 0 . Winning on pk is very hard for these girls at this age.
I gave credit to both teams respectfully. And trust me you definitely do not want to go personal with me. So yeah man up
And I DID call it like it was . Dominating a game , a big win means you scored in the game . Not on pks. PLEASE ... SAY WHAT U WANT AFTER THIS AS I WONT ENTERTAIN ANY MORE OF THIS ILL LOGIC BABBLE U ARE TOSSING OUT HERE. FOR ME BOTH PLAYED A GREAT GAME AND TO LOSE BY PK IS NOT A BIG WIN. END OF STORY.

Anonymous said...

1:11

Thank-you for finally admitting you didn't dominate anything. Thank-you also for explaining to everyone that a "big win" can only be achieved by scoring and winning in regulation. Any win at any age in any big tournament is a big win and should be celebrated - especially 10 year old girls! Next time, we'll tell our coaches not to let our kids celebrate a win if it's in pk's. SMH

Maybe you missed my comment at 8:58..."I think PDA Barcelona is a great team and it was a great game."

Anonymous said...

It actually would have been nice for you to have heard our coach tell the parents and players that PDA didn't lose the game and Medford didn't "win" it, we only broke a tie and that losing at pks is a horrible way to end a game.

We wouldn't expect such class from PDA.

Lehigh Valley United is kind of close to you without having to deal with the greater Philly traffic. In NJ if your daughter isn't at PDA level yet, maybe Greater Flemington or Princeton? We've played against Princeton girls in the past and they seemed well coached. Good luck!

Really Lyon is ok they are gonna get hurt fue to lack of speed that was seems at PDA tourny when they got crushed 4-0...they hit there peak....they brag about playing u-11 but tell me when they beat u-11 top teams like nova sjeb galaxy or pipeline match fit then they can talk

Really country that's a big statement...kids in Texas California Florida mass I mean u must be a Lyon parent to make a comment like that..u need a reality check thought that happen when u played south shore elite....that's a whole team of kids that can play on Lyon so ur country comment is a joke

I was impressed when i watched lyon play Top Hat.I thought these girls are amazing. The next day I watched them play South Shore from Mass.and watched them look like a town team. very few of the Lyon girls would even make the South Shore team.

Voorhees vs Middletown

Anonymous said...

Voorhees won 2-0

Anonymous said...

Voorhees talks the talk, and walks the walk. What league do they play in?

Anonymous said...

SJGSL premiere division. Best group of teams in the state. Voorhees, South Jersey Barons, Medford, PDA South, Marlton.

Anonymous said...

So most of them play in Jags as well, but not Voorhees. Overall the Jags Olympic division is stronger IMO.

Anonymous said...

Most do not play in Jags. Medford & PDA are the only 2 that do. The Jags Olympic division could be strong if they were more selective on who they place in it. Because in reality some of the teams in that top division really should not be flighted there.Maybe if they had more than the 2 flights (Olympic & national) that they currently have and broke them down to having not that many teams in each flight as they now have, then maybe you could compare the strength between the 2 top flight in both leagues. Unfortunately I think the skill level in Jags Olympic division between all the teams currently flighted in it is too big to say that Jags is the stronger one. Though i do agree that it has some strong teams.

Anonymous said...

I meant to say.... the skill level gap between teams in the Jags Olympic flight is to big to say Jags is the stronger of the 2.

I think some teams will be playing EDP next year not sure how the comp will be there but I think that's where voorhees n Sjeb r going to play....Marlton lost to Sjeb today twice today the played to games not sure what the score was in the games.....

Our coach told us they are staying 8v8 but would also like to play 11v11 on Sundays if enough kids made the team, thus making the transition a little less painful the following year.

Last Saturday, ODP 2003 lost terribly 5-0 to the NJ Wildcats U11 team which is a good, not great team. Seems that ODP is overrated.

Anonymous said...

ODP played girls older than u11. Confirmed by what they were told and what parents, who are familiar with the older Wildcats players, said. There were at least 20 Wildcats players that they mixed in and out during the "game". Maybe some were u11, but certainly not all.

Anonymous said...

Even if ther were some older girls - should be able to compete if it's truly an OPD team. Should be the best girls in the state at u11. ODP is nothing more than another money grab and should not need anymore with all the new so called premiere teams and clubs.

There is no "odp" team at this age. Only these development squads they started recently as a money grab. The real odp doesn't start until U13 when they go to Rhode Island for the summer camp.

I'm not sure I would want myself or my kid in that environment. Nor would I want my kid to be subjected to your anger and emotionality. Glad we're in the north.

Sorry yes your last name was used. Still don't think most care. Every club has whacked parents. You need to keep your cool, man. Rise above it.

Did Sjeb beat nj stallion u-11 team today 1-0...

The teams in South Jersey have perfected kick and run. Don't get me wrong, the better teams all have very talented technical soccer players, but they still play kick and run.

I'll say it right now. Vorhees has no chance against PDA in the fall. PDA has better talent and is much better coached. The big field will show the difference in style and ability. The gap will continue to widen.

Voorhees days are numbered you think PDA will beat Sjeb now there team is looking very strong now

Have watched a ton of teams. Agree with above analysis. The other team that I enjoy watching even though they have gotten beat a few times is SDFC. Very technical, play out of the back, no kick and run.
