U13G / U13 Girls Youth Soccer

U13G  / U13 Girls youth soccer seems to offer the most teams and the widest diversity of talent.

Where these players will end up is anyone guess.

Welcome to the ride.

if you are calling Calvert over rated that means your daughter is not on a top team. they have played all the top teams in NJ and trust me you have not seen speed up top until you play Calvert. they have a crazy coach but they have a system and run it to perfection, they can be stopped but the 2 strikers are both fast and they know how to get the ball to them running full speed. not over rated at all

Someone is just trying to get your goat, look alike he succeeded...I have respect for them, and thanks for the inside scoop on their forwards, will make sure our girls trip them as much as possible, tootles.

I was just going to post their results - They tied Rage and Wildcats 1-1 split with Charlton.
Beat FC Virginia 2nd team and lost to 1st team, Split with FC Stars 2nd team, not very impressed. Don't care about scrimmages pal just lookt a GS. They struggled against PA teams that play 8v8. Come on man.

Yee-Haa, looks like Calvert Crew is on the menu, start digging-in boys!!!

As if the NJ drama isn't enough, now we're going to get MD drama as well! Question is will the Jersey trolls join forces to chase away the Maryland clan or will they continue trashing each while taking shots at MD... To Be Continued...

What is Pre-ECNL? I was told it was nonsense, a made up league.

Did USClub approve this, or was this just another pompous move by someone?

Anonymous said...

If your daughter doesn't play for PDA she doesn't play for a top team. I think this board has established that already.

5:34 pre-ecnl? I don't know before ECNL ages?

Anonymous said...

why no update from PDA tryouts last night?

Anonymous said...

Pre- ecnl is the U-13 year when ECNL clubs get their girls ready to compete at U-14.

Anonymous said...

So is u-12 pre pre ECNL?

Anonymous said...

Force will play Delco

And I don't think Maryland parents come here at all

Anonymous said...

Force removed from the Delco Schedule?

Anonymous said...

Force will NOT play Fc Delco next weekend.
already removed from B/Elite flight
something must have caused team to split up before completing spring schedule.

Was the Storm / Force game played or was it a forfeit?

You can't make this stuff up.
Matchfit will do anything for a few more dues checks$$$.
Either they paid him for those players or they put him on staff.
No way he just gave those players up to matchfit. Maybe they will let him be the Coach ?
Either way Yikes!!
So much for them challenging PDA over the next few years.
ECNL never should have taken these jokes.

Pre-ECNL is a made up league. Made up by some North East Clubs that are part of the ECNL. It was a way for U12's to play games vs other ECNL clubs with U12 teams. I can honestly say I'm not even sure USClub knows about this or know that they are using ECNL in the name.

At U13 ECNL has a league that is optional called the JR ECNL. Now that is sanctioned by USClub.

I dont believe that these North East Clubs (NJ is only Match Fit) will start a JR ECNL, because then the rules of ECNL have to be followed Completely... Such as once out a player can not go back in that half, only 7 trades, etc...

Its a good idea and good competition, but the name can confuse people.

Anonymous said...

It's a major sell out if they are forfeiting rest of EDP season. There are teams in the mix depending on Force playing competitively so if the coach &/or parents have abadoned ship then shame on you.

Anonymous said...

Pretty funny 9:49 that there are "teams in the mix" for EDP. Can someone please tell me why or how EDP regular season in the Spring is a big deal? It isn't.

Enjoy the great weather folks.

Anonymous said...

Way to go Force. What a joke

Anonymous said...

10:10 you are a dope!

Anonymous said...

Match fit and PDA are going off the grid shortly.

They will play in their universe. The rest can discuss how good they are until after high school graduation.

They can surmise how they have a lot of Got Soccer points and their child's team will rule the universe.

The Better players are already starting to come in to the ECNL program and will continue over the next year.

Good luck to all. enjoy playing in whatever circumstance you have chosen for your child.

Anonymous said...

Going off the grid? LMFAO. ECNL is going downhill. Already too many blowouts, too many unhappy parents with huge rosters . Mediocre training.. and blowout scores because clubs cannot field quality teams in all age groups. Only a matter off time before the next soccer group comes along with a better idea. good riddance.

Anonymous said...

11:09 are we talking about the Northeast u12 Teams? Because I don't think there will be to many blowouts maybe 20 hard games then of course when they play other teams the games will be easier. Just to repeat these u12 teams will be in the same division all of which would be Region1 Premier teams no questions. I think 9 of them are among the strongest in the region right now. How many games do you think any NON-ECNL club team team can win against the top 10 from this list? one? two? would they be close?

BREAKERS GU12ELITE
WCUSC PREDATORS'01G

Yes those teams will get stronger and the run off onto their 2nd teams will make them even stronger.

If all these teams don't apply for region 1 and none of the NYCSL NPL,, EDL NPL, New England NPL and Virginia NPL teams don't apply for Region 1 what will be left? would it be strong?

Anonymous said...

So you, think other than those twelve teams there are not 12 other teams in the REGION that are just as strong?delusional.

Anonymous said...

Again enjoy your experience....I know we will enjoy ours.

Anonymous said...

hi, Im new to NJ and trying to understand. What has happened to Crush? I heard they lost 1 girl. is it more than that? where are they going? Same question about Rage.

Anonymous said...

Delusional, you call me? What other league has 12 teams like that in it? What?, NONE!!, yeah that's what I said, Northeast ECNL Division will be super strong and spill off will make the NE Girls NPL strong. When you take teams out of the other Leagues I mentioned NYCSL NPL, EDL NPL, Virginia NPL and the New England NPL.

What league will have 12 top teams in it? Name 12 top teams not in those leagues, can you? Provide some facts before you call me Delusional.

PS. Sorry I didn't mention your team :(

Anonymous said...

Crush is just fine, thanks. You just missed the tryouts.

Anonymous said...

I think it's cool if someone comes on the board, and shows pride and support for their child's team, it's normal, but please do everyone a huge favor and understand that we all have the same feelings, we all think our team is great, and no one will ever convince otherwise. You can use all the stats, results, and common opponents you want, since the only person you are convincing is yourself.

Anonymous said...

5:06 why are you on this board based on what you said?

PA State Cup finals.

Ukrainians 1 Nether 1
Ukrainians win on PKs.

Anonymous said...

11:50 I disagree with you on NPL. Regardless of level of play. The end result is the champion of the NE Girls NPL will play the Champion of the NYCSL NPL, the champion of the EDP or EDL NPL and all the other champions in one event to crown a NATIONAL champion.

So every game actually means something in all these leagues. From Fall to Spring the full soccer season.

My question was simple when you remove ECNL and all NPL teams what is region 1 left with? What other teams would you add be more specific?

Anonymous said...

Point is the level of play during season will be higher in pre ecnl and ne npl. Much more difficult to come out on top in those leagues than the others. All I am saying.....

Anonymous said...

Congrats to the PA champion

Anonymous said...

I agree with you on that, I posted the list of the teams in both pre-ecnl and ne npl.

But that doesn't mean the others can't get stronger. Some decent clubs and as the NPL sticks around longer and get stronger (remember this is only year 2 for girls) it will be a lot easier to market the league.

To me it's already passed Region1. Not saying, those leagues won't have quality teams and games. But when your league game matters every weekend, that makes practice even more important for the kids to push each other for minutes which brings up the level of play for everyone. Remember the ECNL and NE Girls NPL won't have all the top talent.

Just my 2 cents

Anonymous said...

I thought PDA changed team coaches as teams move up in age and the college-age teams die off?

Anonymous said...

12:57 I think you are right, as an ECNL goes away, some teams have a change.

Speaking of which, what's the word with the u12 PDA Storm? It's been pretty hush hush recently. Which is normally okay if most of the posts weren't about a certain soccer coach. That topic got old quick, I don't even read those posts, I just skip over them and hope for something new

Anonymous said...

Yes, congrats to the PA Champion.
And good riddance to the 8v8 in PA.

Anonymous said...

No doubt other talent but the depth will be far greater on pre ecnl and ne npl teams......

no doubt

7:22 Really? Force tied NJX in SC (had early lead) ended up losing in PKs then tied Rage in EDP game about 3 hours later on same day. & you're going to come here & say they have

No attacking players from Force could make NJX or Black teams.
They would have to play on Jaguars.

Anonymous said...

Did the Wildcats lose to RYSA Wildcats green in the NJ Cup consolation semi's?

Anonymous said...

No decided not to play as no open dates that work for both teams in time allowed.

Anonymous said...

Matchfit Jaguars also forfeited rather than play RYSA in last round.
According to schedule online RYSA is in semifinals of consolation bracket after a bye and 2 forfeits without playing a game.
SJEB also forfeited their game.

Anonymous said...

I predict thistle and rysa in conso finals.

Anonymous said...

Actually matchfit jaguars advanced over ocean when ocean forfeited in first round, then matchfit jaguars forfeited in next round.
Only about 6 games actually played in entire consolation bracket.
All other games were bye's or forfeits.
Looks like this will be last year for this bracket.

So the administrator is either a friend of that Force Coach that is moving to MF or a staff member at MF.

Seems like many have wanted to voice information about this person. But the admin keeps taking down the messages that inform people about how bad this person is, you should keep the info up so people are in the know.

The guys was fired from NJ Force, both bank accounts were emptied out, for the teams he coached. He communicates with children with social media, outside of the communication with parents, isn't that just wrong on so many levels!
He fleeces money from team families by telling them their child should get some additional training, oh yeah, he will do it for $100 per hour. What a joke! Have him demo how to do anything with soccer, he has no clue. MF seems to be reeling, at least on the boys side, they are losing their Academy teams at u16 and u18 levels. They have no home, that is the issue.
You should stay as far away from this guy as possible.
Really feel for the players that he coached this year, if they were smart they would stay on and play for RJ, the guy has a very successful background in soccer and is a very good trainer and coach. don't be concerned that he has shorts falls on the business side, the soccer side of the equation is very strong! Good luck to all those that have been negatively effected by this jack a$$.

This is why we can't have nice things. You're going to ruin this blog for everyone because you have a personal grudge with the Force coach. Now the admin is going to block all new posts until they've been screened like last year, and nothing will get updated for days at a time. We get it. You don't like him. Stay away. Whatever. Just worry about your own daughter. I'll worry about mine.

I dare you to post your own name and your daughter's team if you want to say anything else about anyone directly.

The shut down last year was over remarks about the same coach doing the same type of thing but coming from a different club at that time. So if people want to go to him, let them.

We all know which coaches/trainers are the ones to stay away from & if you don't shame on you for not researching. It just amazes me that people sign up with them still, have a terrible experience & then come on here complaining or letting everyone else be aware of it. The chicken has finally come home to roost for them & their teams right now are in flux. They'er either totally dismantling or struggling mightily to get enough players to field a team next year or going through a major turnover in players. Like I said before, no need to mention names, we all know who they are.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Well said! I think that is why many of the posts have certain information in them, they are just trying to educate the masses.

At the end of the day, it is just a beautiful game, that we get to watch our children play and compete. My hope is that they all find their right level of play and continue to grow as players.

Good luck to all

Anonymous said...

10:22 & 10:31 Excellent posts, couldn't agree more with both.

Anonymous said...

I have a question

Everyone always praises a coach that wins. At the higher level teams, let me use PDA. PDA will get so many top players to join them. As a coach, don't you believe it is easier to coach a team like this than to coach a mid level team? Personally at a mid level team, you are dealing with the cards you are dealt. To me this is when the coaching really takes place.

Anonymous said...

Some of the allegations posted here are very serious. Have there been any charges filed or arrests? I noticed the social media interactions after doing some searching. If my 12 year old's coach was doing that he'd have a big problem.

Anonymous said...

my next question

I read many posts that next year NPL will be a huge accomplishment to make playoffs etc.

My question, I see the Black team playing up has a chance at making the U13NPL playoffs. Isn't this a great accomplishment to just be in position to make it?

I understand this team did not attend the NJ Cup, should they have been focused on the NJ Cup or try to finish in 4th for NPL?

Anonymous said...

YES, great accomplishment vs bigger, if less skilled teams

Second part:

The league schedule/overall schedule did not allow for State Cup for Match Fit in spring

Other clubs have gone through this and you will continue to see good teams miss fall and/or spring state cups as we go forward.

Anonymous said...

always playing bigger\faster girls is always a challenge.

Anonymous said...

11:12 Which would you rather do?

Win SC or finish in 4th with a chance to go to a National event?

I would rather go to National event wouldn't you?

Match Fit Academy NPL U13 vs World Class FC NPL U13

PDA, FC Stars and CFC are in the Playoffs already.

Really?PDA takes the big girls with little soccer iq,and technical skill.Like Rage players.Who would have thought?(sarcasm)Lets hope they also picked up some girls with technical skill.

Anonymous said...

2:13. Disagree. There is some very good soccer options in the Force area.

PDA Shore will be a new team. Now would be a great time to join.

MF - Hazlet. Very good NJX team will be the core but will need to add more.

It's not too late to reachout to other programs. There is still a lot of player movement to be sorted through.

Anonymous said...

How come I can't find anything on IGFA tryouts?

Anonymous said...

Being proven more and more each year...... You need strength and athleticism to go with the technical. Technical alone will not get you that far.

Anonymous said...

I am sure PDA shore will be good at some point but that will take some time. It will not be a true PDA team until our girls have moved on..... Why pay the PDA fees if you are going to be the 4th team in the state for them?

Anonymous said...

The greatest players in the world are considered small.

Anonymous said...

Teach technical first and then athleticism and tactics. Not the other way around.

Anonymous said...

Athleticism is very tough to teach my friend. They either have it or not......

Anonymous said...

"I think some of the players are leaving for the njsa/manalapan/freehold combo."

With this combo what does that mean for manalapan and Freehold at U13? No team? Thought EB was in there too?

Anonymous said...

I hear this argument quite frequently about athletism and size. Often it is made by the parents who lack technical skills and make up for their lack of skill by running fast and hitting harder.

At the higher levels of play all players are fast and strong with a great deal of technical skills that have been honed throughout the years... These kids sit at the top of the pyramid.

The kids that are fast and big with little skill or game IQ are inferior players and the kids who are all technical with average speed of play are also a notch down.

At the top you will have technical skills, quickness, high soccer IQ -size cannot hurt- you should be big enough as to not let your height be detrimental to what you are trying to accomplish.

The range can be broad 5'2 to 5'8 is a great.
Quickness of play knows no height general range.

Anonymous said...

Also one of the Rage girls went to SJ Elite Barons. And by the way, all the girls do possess technical skills. That's why they were beating your daughter's team all the time. You moron !

Anonymous said...

Yes you are right Rage girls have great skills. That's why in both of the winter futsal tournaments they did horrible. That's were you see skills good first touches, quick passes, and soccer techniques.None were seen in either tournament.I think in both tournaments they won one or two games.Yes GREAT soccer skills the Rage girls have.

Anonymous said...

It sounds like you are a disgruntled parent that their child was beaten in the past by Rage. No team can win all the time. The coach was incorporating some new players into the mix at times, and yes maybe those skills weren't up to par with the others yet, but to say all Rage players have no skill is BS. I'm sure your team doesn't have all good players either.

Anonymous said...

Winter futsal? That's all got?

Anonymous said...

3:31 your child must be the technical not as athletic kid. Your problem with your argument is that all girls on these top teams will all be somewhat technical and somewhat athletic. Coaches will take athleticism 90% of the time as the technical can be worked on and athleticism can only improve a bit. It is something that is God given..... The way it has been for years and years now......

Anonymous said...

The older you get the harder it is to teach technical. Play up a few times and the athletic comes.

Anonymous said...

Is "athletic" just another way of saying "does not get knocked off the ball"?

Anonymous said...

@7:32

No my child is extremely athletic but also very technical and so if your child is just athletic she will look like an inferior player at the highest level where the back is just as fast as the striker . But a quick move to get out of pressure and a pass to an open team mate will beat you every time.

Anonymous said...

Athletic to me means no skill. Just your basic toe the ball, out run some players and push them around because they are more aggressive and need to work 110% to make up for the skill they don't have.

So athletic sounds better doesn't it.

Anonymous said...

@732 no matter how athletic she is, can you daughter hang on to the ball in very tight spaces with no where to run. If she can, then she is on her way, If she can't, then she has work to do.

Anonymous said...

Well.......9:24 you are defining it wrong.

Technical kids get beat to balls, come out on the wrong end of tackles, get moved off a desired space and YES, can often be intimidated.

Anonymous said...

Can we debate which hair color makes for a better soccer player? I'm going with red.

Anonymous said...

10:43 gets my point. If you are beaten to the ball repeatedly by the quicker more athletic player, the technical part of her game will not be used much..... Like I said before when you get to these top teams they all have both so you are not talking about a toe ball kid. They can all handle the ball. It is the quicker athletic kid that is getting the team possession
that starts to stand out.

Anonymous said...

Athletic=quick, fast, strong. There are two things coaches want to see above all else. Will a kid consistently tackle, and can a kid take another kid one on one. At a certain level you are expected to be both athletic and technical.

Anonymous said...

You can become "out of shape" but technical ability and soccer smarts will stay with you always.

Anonymous said...

I have to go with chestnut colored hair, it's the new power color, I am told.

Anonymous said...

The shorter the hair, the more aerodynamic they are.

Anonymous said...

Does the NJ top teams show quickness and technicality? PDA NJX MF black, etc.

Anonymous said...

uh yeah.... Both athletic and technical players are needed to be on top. Period end of story.

Anonymous said...

This conversation about skill-based soccer compared to size-based soccer is completely stupid, you need both, end of saga, end of the world, end of my contribution, Let’s Go Rangers!

Anonymous said...

Braids or ponytails?

Anonymous said...

I agree that this is a worthless argument. We might as well be debating tastes great/less filling. If you're relying on only one, you're going to fall off eventually. Not every technically sound but smaller girl now is going to eventually grow up to be as fast and strong as your daughter, but the ones who do are going to make you wish you had invested a little more time in development at these younger ages.

Even some of the smaller girls who don't grow up quite as much will still have the advantage if the skills are refined enough.

Anonymous said...

I agree with the bigger girls that could become"out of shape".What's the more technical girl going to become?More technical oh no!

Anonymous said...

8:16 I agree with you.

7:08 I agree with you.

7:06 I agree with you as well.

6:51 I disagree with you. While yes the faster player will get the ball first. The more technical player will pass the ball to feet and in right space, no need for speed here. I think the quicker, smarter player stands out - making the right decision when to carry when to pass are they passing into pressure are they keeping possession instead of giving it away. The technical player can do this and be athletic. The just athletic kid that is fast and stronger than most kids will struggle with this, but they work super hard and I think coaches fall in love with that thinking they can teach the technical aspect of it. Well as the NY times article a few weeks ago pointed out these are the kids that get the rides and then sit on the bench because they can't play at that level and the coaches weren't able to teach them the technical aspect of the game. But at the end of the day they still get the last laugh, full ride to sit on the bench while technical player remain in the shadows. This is starting to change and this is why in my opinion you have the Basketball/Football/LaCross dad/moms saying it's important to have multiple sport players and supporting athletic kids over technical kids - better for their child and better for their u12 team - more wins keeps everyone happy and the income steady.

Anonymous said...

How could you be "relying on only one"?

The more athletic players are getting the technical training

And in time the "lesser" athlete, with her jukes and smarts, YES - should get stronger and sometimes even a bit quicker with a growth spurt

The better teams also offer some form of speed training

Ok. Lets fire up the board... Delco

Can NJX or MF Black put on a strong performance for NJ soccer. How great would it be if these 2 teams play each other? Who would MF brASS be rooting for?

Could Crush be a dark horse?

Anonymous said...

NJX takes title

MF brass doesn't care who wins ..they are still busy depositing checks

Anonymous said...

I will say an out of state team is crowned. They certainly have to be favored.

Crush-MF-E Meadow-TFA bracket very interesting

Could be 6 very close games, unless TFA just runs the table with ease.

Anonymous said...

When do we start seeing the new teams play for these clubs with tryouts over for MF and PDA - August?

Anonymous said...

Depends. If team has a summer schedule, then earlier

I'd bet some of the teams play friendlies, not tournaments, leading up to their first toruney, which would be mid AUGUST for some, Labor Day for others.

Anonymous said...

Of course if a "new" player has nothing scheduled for MEM DAY weekend then they can guest at Delco or wherever else the new team might be playing.... if invited

Anonymous said...

The out of area teams are always the wildcard. Seems that tfa is very solid-tied the breakers. That leads me to the following question/comment/thought: we all go back and forth "discussing" who the best team is. I'm sure that we all realize that within a 150 mile radius (from Ajax/PDA south to westchester PA to rockland county ny to mid-Long Island) there are 15 very high quality teams. It also seems that in these bigger tournaments a team outside this radius always does well. So, I'm curious how many high quality teams there are 150 miles within tfa in Ohio or top hat in GA. I don't know the answer but I suspect not that many. BTW that is why the breakers are so impressive to me. So good with FC stars and south sore and the ct teams so near by. Thoughts?

Anonymous said...

The talent in the NJ area is spread across a number of good teams. They don't have any completely dominant team because there are a number of very good teams (not great compared to some across the country). When they go against teams from other geographies, that team may only have that one superior team in their area that all the best players flock to. Where in this area there are many choices (not just PDA's 4 teams or MF's 3 teams, etc.), so there is not that single superior team.

10:36 OH and GA have their own battles I'm sure, I didn't even list any out of state rivals, but they have their share of big clubs.

Ohio has 3 ECNL teams

Ohio Elite Soccer Academy
Ohio Premier
Internationals SC

As does GA with

GSA
Atlanta Fire
Concorde Fire

NPL Clubs in GA
Atlanta Fire United (Ga.)
Augusta Arsenal (Ga.)
Norcross Soccer Academy (Ga.)
Storm Soccer Academy (Ga.)
United Futbol Academy (Ga.)

NPL Clubs in OH
Cincinnati United SC (Ohio)
Crew Juniors (Ohio)
Internationals SC (Ohio)
Ohio Elite SA (Ohio)

10:59 We need to stop thinking of NJ as the place to be.

Every state has their own boards with the same conversations. If it's not PDA getting killed it's EM, if it's not EM then it's CFC or FC Stars, new state new team to hate. The talent is all over the place. This is why I like the ECNL, they put a league together with the thought that it would attract the best players from a region and then have those players play against each other.

Must admit I love the NPL platform even more and I like both because they are club based.

Anonymous said...

10:59AM I have been making the same argument for few years now. Too many teams in NJ & the talent gets spreads out over a very small area. If you were to form a team with the 20 BEST players in NJ including 2 of the top goalies for this age group, NJ would be very competitive. I would argue definitely a top 10 team in the country, maybe top 5.

I am a soccer coach (not for my daughter), played throughout college & drafter for pro team but never made it. I have seen many top teams from around the country at this age (my daughter plays u12) & I think the quality of players here is for most part better.

Anonymous said...

Tournaments everyone usually use guest players. Especially teams traveling a far distance. Can't travel all that distance to be embarrassed. Most top teams in nj do not use guest players either because its not allowed like pda unless the player is within the club. Breakers are known for using guest players from south shore. Nj teams can't get away with it because most girls on the top teams are known and a standout guest player would be noticed quickly

Anonymous said...

How do you know the Breakers use players from South Shore Select, how do you know that for sure?

Anonymous said...

Dear Calvert Crew groupie, do you know why the team is not at FC Delco this weekend, why did they chose EDP Cup, was it to meet me in person?

Anonymous said...

...sorry, choose...

Anonymous said...

someone posted earlier in the week there were some nice matchups this past weekend. Does anybody have any scores. Thanks

Anonymous said...

EDP website is missing a few scores from this weekend. Curious about TSF vs both Rage and IGFA. Anyone have any updates?

Anonymous said...

Ask them yourself when you see them. Just wear a mask and tell them your name is anonymous.

Anonymous said...

I'm not exactly sure what part of that question provoked an answer that needed to be anything but straight forward. I genuinely don't know the scores to those games, and I am genuinely curious about the outcomes.

If everyone would just stop acting like a child for a few days, that'd be great.

Anonymous said...

hahaha to the comment above.

i must say i was rather impressed by those parents who were bashing Rage. YOU'RE AWESOME - Keep up the bashing of an innocent bunch of 12 year olds. Absolutely shameless! congrats to the guy who has a very technical daughter -- she opens up and plays on the front foot all the time and is able to receive in and maintain possession in tight areas? wait, what you're confused? you have no idea what the hell you're talking about? behave yourself, your children would be embarrassed if they knew what dorks their parents really were.

get a grip of reality.

Anonymous said...

hey guy above -- i hope you can sleep ok not knowing the score of the game between two teams of 12 year olds? Do you need some sleeping pills, oh the excitement and tension all at once.

Anonymous said...

Hopefully this is not a shock to anyone, but this board, and its many thoughtful comments, are a form of entertainment, and that’s all. The fact that you can disguise your identity, pretend to be someone you’re not, as yes, even ask an honest question all in one place is totally amusing to me, and at times through the day, a small relief to the craziness we all live with.

I for one, have had many laughs these past months, albeit at the expense of others yes, but other than a few serious accusations, such as embezzlement, this place is for distraction, and occasionally information.

So if you want real news, go to CNN, if not, enjoy the comments, and stay classy New Jersey.

Go Rangers!

I know this is depressing, but I read an industry article on sports gambling, and youth sports were included in that piece. There are a small number (hopefully) of parents that will bet on their child’s team, and considering that NJ/NY/PA have one of the highest concentrations of casual gamblers in the country. Its not out of the realm that someone would like to know scores, because because they bet on the games, sad right??

Anonymous said...

Where can i find try out information for the Jersey Premier Soccer program? Are they part of the Mass Premier Soccer set up?

Anonymous said...

Might be best to get on their website and contact them. I think they are part of the global premier soccer uniform. they tend to fly under the radar but i have always been impressed by their approach in games.

Anonymous said...

Oh give it a break with the gambling. When i was playing u9 baseball and pitching the two coaches bet a case a beer while I was standing on the mound. Thats the problem with this world. Everyone is a winner, no losers. Parents become coaches to make sure jimmy makes the team and plays the entire game. Failure is a part of life. I did my best for my coach to win that case of beer, but luck wasnt on our side. The other team was more athletic than us, but we had more skill and knowledge.

thanks for the info 4:10

SHSC.net

Somerset Hills = JPS

Anonymous said...

My understanding is that JPS totally separated themselves from the new formation of the club. Not 100% on all details but would suggest if it is a club you are interested in that you reach out to them

Anonymous said...

4:15, thanks for that contribution to society.

Anonymous said...

BTW: 4:15, I was not writing about a case of Bud between friends, and its completely true, there are some losers in this world. Can you guess?

Boca gets dismissed on here often. Again the are not the best team in NJ but they are coming. They do have probaly 2 of the top ten players in the state and just had a great try out with MANY other teams represented. Great coaching/training all within a positive atmosphere. Its not about being the best 12yr old team, but the girls still loving and playing when they are college ready.

Anonymous said...

Can we talk about delco? Crush will be back and prove to be top 5 again...

Anonymous said...

Boca tied Dragons in jags this past weekend.Getting better but 2 of top 10 players in the state on boca. I don't think so.

Anonymous said...

Clearly a boca parent just bigging up their own team. Try been humble it will wear off on your kids. As a shore resident I know of the boca program. Not very stable. So just lay off a little

Anonymous said...

Two of the top ten girls in the state? Please tell me you are joking right?Looking at your got soccer website you haven't even played the best in the state. So I am not really sure how you can even say that. You beat the Wildcats one time. Now you really are coming on to blog about how great these girls are.

Anonymous said...

Don't forget the"Great Coaching and Training at Boca".
Tell us more coach.

I'll add some Delco Cup Talk

Is how the teams in the top bracket would be ranked in their respective states?

MA
Breakers
South Shore

NJ
NJX
MF Black
Crush
Wildcats

Ohio
Tri-State
Crews

NY
WC Charlton
East Meadow

MD United is the only MD team. WCUSC is the only PA team.

Does the B bracket have the best teams from NJ, MA, NY, and PA in it?
