How about the EDP schedule. These folks are terrible on their website maintenance.
Mid march and NO schedule. Wow.

Another league that will fail on their delivery of better standards. Just like Super-Y. Learn from Academy system. Schedules up from winter break.

One person trying to do the job of 3 at EDP. She can't handle the job, she should have help or hire someone that can do it. You charge a lot, earn it.

MAPS and their ilk don't, period. Yet the suckers keep coming back. My son's old club used to take only 6 games in MAPS and have many friendlies. A random parent would ref better.

SSC Spartans seem alive and well beat NJSA and STA in state cup and once again will face TSF for the third year in a row. So much for the doomsday predictions.

Anonymous said...

SSC, HA

Anonymous said...

Come back when SSC beats TSF..or any other top 5 team and I will eat my words.

Anonymous said...

I guess all those years of SSC beating Ironbound really created some animosity. Your obsession with this team is pathetic.

So did ssc beat tsf "b" team? Cause ya'll know they aint beating preacademy..

Anonymous said...

not from either team, but claiming TSF as an academy or even pre- academy team is worse than anything SSC posted.

Anonymous said...

No, they lost 1-0 in extra time.

Just to bring this back to earth...SSC posters haven't claimed anything here. The boys are in a rebuilding year. We accept it, no complaints. They have played some good games, especially recently, and the team looks to be coming together nicely.

The Ironbound poster is OBSESSED with the Spartans for some reason, and keeps shooting his mouth off. Now insulting TSF. Like I said above....completely pathetic.

Anonymous said...

I agree pathetic, I am not with either TSF or SSC , but respect both programs who turn out quality products. But this above guy with all the carrying on about D1 coaches is ridiculous. Unlike football and basketball, college soccer has many quality D3 programs who would hold their own V D1 programs. Many of these D3 soccer programs are at high end academic institutions which make it even more appealing. So to the basher above, go get a few grand knocked off your son's D 1 tuition and brag that you got a scholarship. Meanwhile some true scholar athletes will get nice packages at Middlebury, Amherst, Johns Hopkins, Messiah, etc save more from their wallet and be at good soccer programs that regularly beat D1 schools in their spring match ups.

Anonymous said...

I also agree. Why bash TSF or Stronghold? Both good programs. TSF current cup holders in this age group, Stronghold finalist prev two years, and I believe their team one year younger won state cup. Seems like two pretty good stable clubs to me.

EPYSA U15 Boys semifinals are set

Lehigh Valley vs. PSC Coppa

LDC United vs. Penn Fusion

I think Penn Fusion beats Lehigh Valley in final

Anonymous said...

PDA just beat TSF who are #1 in the state

Anonymous said...

TSF is #1 in the state because they know how to collect the most got soccer pts.

Anonymous said...

Good for tsf they obviously win to earn the points....stop cryingz

Anonymous said...

when you only enter tournaments which will give you the maximum
number of gotsoccer pts., you
can create an illusion of being #1

Anonymous said...

What are you talking about? Tsf plays in top Tournaments...Jeff cup...Dallas cup etc. their recent points are for beating past state champs..check got soccer before making stupid comments...and btw they are a Quality team!

Anonymous said...

I know exactly how got soccer works.
I don't want an argument. I'm stating fact, If you want a club
that enters top, far away tournaments which offer lots of soccer pts. TSF is the club. If
your looking for long term development, look further,

Anonymous said...

How do you qualify a developed team? What isnt tsf doing on the pitch that you see that shows they dont play the game the right way? What teams in NJ ARE developed?

Check out this report from the European Club Association about the top youth academies in Europe. Makes for some good reading.

This Dinamo camp EB is talking about in their post seems to be legit

EB is playing TSF B team. They beat them last time they played. http://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/event.aspx?EventID=27410&GroupID=242461

It's going to be a tight game. Probably the same with PDA and SJEB. They don't seem to have played each other recently. Heard that last time PDA and EB played it was a draw.

Anonymous said...

does anybody know if Holmdel FC U8B Tottenham is their A Team or B Team?

Anonymous said...

PDA beat SJEB 1-0. EB United beat TSF 3:0. Finals tomorrow PDA vs. EB United at 11am in Manalapan rec center, field B.

Anonymous said...

Every boys team in Holmdel is a B team these days.

Anonymous said...

EB United beats PDA Pele 2-0 in the finals of the National Champions State Cup.

the parent who said his son would go to EB if they beat TSF, now is the time to e-mail the coach and ask about trying out

Anonymous said...

Good one but they beat the B team not tsf x...

Anonymous said...

Doesn't matter. PDA beat TSF A team and they beat PDA 2-0. Give credit where it's due.

Anonymous said...

Lingive eBay credit for winning not easy but they are not beating tsfx and PDA isn't that good.

Anonymous said...

Agreed that TSFX and probably Ironbound are the best teams, but never the less, for a township team it's an impressive achievement. They should be able to recruit top talent now and be a top 5 team next year.

Anonymous said...

Lehigh Valley '97 over Penn Fusion 3-1

Anonymous said...

I don't see TSF X winning 100% of their games, or Ironbound or PDA, so what makes you so sure that TSF X would beat EB?

Anonymous said...

Claufoa reyna out as national youth soccer director. moving on to NYCFC.

Maybe new director will revisit h.s./da rule..wishful thinking?

Anonymous said...

How did the NJ Teams do this weekend? Any interesting stories?

Anonymous said...

Stronghold lost to STA in semis up in MA. STA then lost in finals to NEFC...both games 1-0.

Anonymous said...

Good for SSC AND STA anyonr else play? I noticed the Needham tournament had a Monday finish..kinda crappy having to pay for an extra hotel nite when they only had 1 game sunday.

Who the hell wants to go to Croatia to play soccer, especially if you're an american kid?

Anonymous said...

well there are already a few US kids from CA and NY there. Dinamo is the 2nd highest grossing club in player transfers in Europe after Porto. So if you have ambitions to play professionally it's a pretty good launching pad (if they take you).
