I'm sorry but I just read the NJ.com first team, second team, etc. All State Selections. Funny, but except for 1 or 2 players, nobody south of middle New Jersey is ever selected. It's like that part of the state downward doesn't exist as far as these so-called sports reporters are concerned. It's a shame because there is a lot of talent and these players aren't getting the recognition they deserve.

curious, my daughter and her teammates hate their coach. many have quit because of him. anyone know what it takes to get rid of a HS coach?

HAHA...get rid of a HS coach that has probably been there forever, possibly a tenured teacher. Gonna make he/she quit because a few dont like him/her...thats funny stuff, like HS soccer matters anyway. you're funny.

Getting rid of the HS coach is probably impossible. These jobs pay from 8 thou to 10+ thou for doing not much and they are generally plums given to those with connections.
In our town, the guy has years of teaching moving districts because he can't get tenure, and his mom is big in a youth league and the local club. My child suffered because of it, and he'll overcome it. But even with clear violations of every basic rule of teaching kids, and specific school rules about sports teams, he is still coaching.
