High School Level Youth Soccer Players

We're a little embarrassed we didn't think of this one ourselves...

Our new topic page will be targeted for discussions of high school level play. If the page becomes popular, we will break it into boy / girl down the road.

How does a HS age player not in ECNL or USSF DA program get extra hours of training? Everything shuts down for the spring.

Philly private schools and outside of Baltimore private schools have historically had excellent HS teams.

Thanks for the great post on your blog, it really gives me an insight on this topic.

Four-plus months, ten real posts (discounting the two previous spam posts). I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that there just isn't any significant interest around here in HS soccer.

Not that there should be... :)

Public HS is a joke. Some really good private HS soccer though.

All the crazy bloggers are parents of the younger age anyways. By the time they get to playing u-16 and HS, the parents have stopped the blogging because all the lies and kool-aid has been drunk.
Plus they spent so much on youth soccer that they can not afford a computer anymore. The gov't is giving them out now free. Fre phones and free computers, what is next. FREE SOCCER with SOCCERCARE!

Any comments on DA vs. HS play for boys? Does anyone know when the DA season starts and ends, officially?

I guess your kid is not playing DA.
Boys HS soccer. NO!
Girls. Yes and maybe depending?

Never played HS varsity soccer, and is being recruited by D1 schools. DA program is better than HS soccer for boys.

This thread is quiet because HS soccer is only August through November.

Getting a little bored reading about Stallions and PDA and their Hatfield and McCoy feud on the 15G Board.

What is the prognosis for SE Pennsylvania high school in the fall? Who are the good teams, who the teams to watch in AAA and AA? I love watching the Chester County vs Bucks/Montgomery County teams play each other as it is a contrast in style. Makes for good theater.
