no other clubs have success across all ages to be accepted into ECNL. nj rush was bragging on itself on the U16 blog. perhaps they could be next? don't care enough to look.

a south club would make sense. maybe barons in the future?

Would love to see ECNL have some type of pro/rel. The Northeast would work.
The bottom team in the ECNL would be relegated to NPL and the top team in NPL would be promoted. FC Stars of Mass NPL would join FC Stars of Mass ECNL as Albertson ECNL will join Albertson NPL in the Northeast Girls NPL. The club doesn't get punished for not having a strong team in the age group. FC Stars gets rewarded for having a deep age group. This would make the ECNL that much stronger in my opinion.

Additionally, if they wanted to switch a second team they could have a play in game between 2nd to last in ECNL and the NPL runner Up.

Or they could use the NPL Finals every year to promote a new team every year with our relegation.

So for example if we take the u13 Age group you will have ALL the ECNL Club teams whenthey reach u18 plus the
u13 NPL Champion to join in at u14. The u14 Champion to join at u15. The following teams from NPL would also be in ECNL:

So the Below NPL champions would be in ECNL. This would bump up NPLs across the country and make ECNL even stronger.

U14 Girls FCSC Nemeis 00 White

U15 Girls NEFC gu14 elite
Colorado Storm Copa

U16 Girls THUSC - Onyx
THUSC (back to back)

U17 Girls NJ Stallions Dynamite
South Bay Force Black

U18 Girls PDA NPL U17
New York Rush

two spins on how pro/rel could help ECNL

The federation is exploring the potential to create a 60-player national girls’ multi-age residency program in a city yet to be determined

This would pair with a girls’ development academy, which would target U-14, U-16 and U-18 league models

U.S. women’s youth programs will also move to birth-year specific programming in 2015.

How all parties come together on these plans could be one of the most interesting spaces to watch. Gulati said U.S. Soccer has a good relationship with Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the highest level of girls youth soccer in the U.S. and a model that loosely replicates the boys’ U.S. Soccer Development Academy model.

If ECNL's goal is to provide a competitive landscape to improve girls soccer they have failed miserably in N CAL particularly in the U16 bracket which is dominated by one club. The coach of this club has systematically taken control not just of the ECNL club level but PDP iD2 and the NTC in the NorCal area. He holds several positions of power within NorCal soccer even though he has major conflicts of interest being the ECNL coach for his daughters team, through his power he has been able to assemble what is a regional team vs an area club team. He has several players that live over 100 miles away. What this has caused is a very uneven playing field for the other ECNL NorCal teams as they cannot compete with this regional team. He built an environment for his daughter to succeed at the expense of all the other U16 players in the area. Although his daughter is a good player she isn't great yet she and several others on his team are always chosen for every PDP and ID camp event. This man has so much power he can determine who moves ahead in the ID camp environment and who doesn't. If you are part of his team you are golden if not and especially if he feels threatened by you as a player or doesn't like you he will go out of his way to make sure yiou don't advance. This has been very damaging to many girls. ECNL needs to wake up and see what he is doing since rumor has it that now that his daughter and all his pets are committed to colleges he will be moving onto a younger age group in hopes of repeating the same thing with them! Wake up ECNL this man is ruining the intent of your program.

Just read the above, ha ha I can see he struck again! Did you see they just posted the NorCal ECNL ID roster? It is full of his favorites and of course his daughter! Even looks like he stacked the deck with lesser players so he could further manipulate the final roster for Beaverton! Get a clue ECNL this man is destroying your program as well as the self esteem of too many girl players!
