In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines

So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found the sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine

We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

And our friends are all on board
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play

We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

You all sound like a bunch of idiots. Get a life. This is annoying.

NJX is losing players just like every other team. don't think they will be at the same level next year - may fall off just a little. Obvious that they were our to get got soccer points, but they will go away if they don't continue to place in tournaments.

Brick will be saved for a year due to break up of NJ Force, sad that team had real potential.

Really want to see how PDA Splash and MF ECNL look to start the 2014/15 campaign.

IGFA could drop off if rumors are true. Team will be very strong when they merge with TSF at U15.

FC Copa will drop off next year, if rumors are true.

Anonymous said...

What are Copa and tsa rumors ?

Anonymous said...

Have no idea who MF picked up. Team needed an overhaul not a tweak.

Anonymous said...

Copa and IGFA rumors are what exactly?

Anonymous said...

All these rumors are all over the place. Thought Brick was going to PDA? Copa will drop off now that they will be playing in higher flights as will IGFA if they can keep players. Force sounds like they are done but you never know. MF will take anyone wiling to pay but that team won't be good for a while.

Oh yeah said...

Rumors are very convenient for some people with agendas, because everyone knows you can’t disprove a rumor.

Next time you hear one, keep in mind that the biggest lie in the world is "they say..."

Anonymous said...

MF has a roster of 24 right now they will take more... Why pay that money if they are terrible?? Go PDA if you want to get better...

Anonymous said...

How do you know MF ECNL roster. It's not even posted

Anonymous said...

Girls were told..

Anonymous said...

713......doe MF roster include the STA kids???

Anonymous said...

7:39 did you take a roll call? How would you know ? I don't think someone from MF would be on here spewing info.

Oh yeah said...

8:28 With 24 players, the better question is who's going to be the offensive, defensive, and special teams coordinator?

Anonymous said...

24 if correct is a Totally ridiculous number. Good luck parents.

Anonymous said...

MF ECNL roster is only 21 kids.

Anonymous said...

So only three don't dress for games...

Anonymous said...

MF still evaluating talent. 20-21 now . 25 by summer. Question is, what will parents 18-25 do?

Anonymous said...

There is a U11 team with 21 rostered. Why should rising U14 be any different? Maybe this is why ones of those rumored teams may be having some issues at multiple ages?

Anonymous said...

Not sure what your saying 9:19

Anonymous said...

There isn't a current u11 team!!

Anonymous said...

Brick 0 - Force 0

in an absolute downpour for most of the game!

Up early today to take my Lower level playing daughter to her travel game. I read this blog and post occasionally. My daughter will never play for any of the teams talked about here. She is simply not good enough. Thought maybe it would "kick in" for her but it hasn't. Oh well.
It seems tthis time of year brings out the worse in you people. I am sure it's the stress of the tryout process. The parents on the bigger academies worry if someone is going to come along to grab Sally's starting spot or will she move further down on the bench. Or get cut.
Smaller clubs worry how many players will we lose to the big clubs and can we survive. Seems this year is particularly tough. The girls take these things hard. Probably harder than what happens ON the field.
On my daughters team we have one that could make it on one of your clubs. Coach tries his best to place us in decent tournaments and keep her. So far so good.
Speaking of coaches. We have a parent coach. I get what you guys are saying about favoritism but I can tell you this. I have friends whose kids play for bigger clubs and they have the same issues with playing time and they blame the paid coach too. At least our coach only coaches our daughters team-not three or four like some academies. He is knowledgealbe and passionate about developing the girls and he actually cares. Whatever floats your boat.
Just thought I would post this on a beautiful soccer Saturday morning. Enjoy it.

Anonymous said...

That's the big picture - enjoy it! Time flies and soccer is done for 99+% of these girls in about 8 years, but they are our daughters forever. On the flip side, they are only our little girls for another year or two then teenage rebellion kicks in. Enjoy the moments!

Anonymous said...

Half of the force players are already brick players so it was a farce

Anonymous said...

Not even sure what the comment about farce, what's a farce that they played the game in the rain?

Anonymous said...

Do you know how much you mean to me? As you grow into what you will be. You came from within, from just beneath my heart. It's there you'll always be, though your own life will now start. You're growing so fast it sends me awhirl, With misty eyes I ask, Where's my little girl? I know sometimes to you I seem harsh and so unfair, But one day you will see, I taught you well because I care. The next few years will so quickly fly, With laughter and joy, mixed with a few tears to cry. As you begin your growth to womanhood, this fact you must know, You'll always be my source of pride, no matter where you go.
You must stand up tall and proud, within you feel no fear, For all you dreams and goals sit before you very near. With God's love in your heart and the world by its tail, You'll always be my winner, and victory will prevail. For you this poem was written, with help from above, To tell you in a rhythm of your Parents heartfelt love!

Anonymous said...

What about the force players that were at match fott eh other night ? Have they been offered a spot there?

Anonymous said...

Sorry Match Fit

Anonymous said...

What are the Wildcats not playing edp cup or FC Delco? Seems like they skip a lot of big tournaments

Anonymous said...

Maybe they're @ Manalapan?

Anonymous said...

Force played Brick? Was that a tryout or scrimmage for next season's roster. Wonder how the current Brick parents feel when watching the players that will be taking their daughters spot on the field next season. There is no loyalty there, only for two players, the coach and trainers daughters.
Wonder how the Force parents felt, the ones not in the inner circle, who were left out of the conversation of the group of 4 or 6 that are going to Brick. What a shame, how phony are those people.

It is all just a joke, and just continues to prove that Girls youth soccer in NJ is filled a bunch of bullsh&^%t

Anonymous said...

any updates on EDP games? - Freehold vs. Barons

Anonymous said...

Loyalty is a funny thing because patents want the coaches to be loyal to players while those same players go to other tryouts & can leave at the drop of the hat in some cases. If Brick is really playing with 12 healthy players they should be looking to add players & if they are better than girls that are there they should get the chance to play. That's life so people shouldn't complain & tell your kids to work hard to not allow players to come in & take their minutes but I'm sure on that team like a lot of others there are players that shouldn't be playing at a high level but are on teams because they have been there a while.

Anonymous said...

Brick has been stable since inception, usually plays competitive against all the top teams. More of the same if not better.

Oh yeah said...

10:19 It's funny to me that we keep saying 4-6 players got together and decided to leave. Why don't we say it for what it is and say 4-6 player's parents were so arrogant and thought their girls were the core of the team, so they got together and formed a little alliance (like a bad episode of survivor) and totally screwed the kids and parents that they were hanging out and laughing with all this time. Way to teach your girls the meaning of loyalty guys.

I like that these same parents will have the audacity to expect loyalty from the next team and parents that will have the misfortune to play with their kids. What if one of the girls from this group gets cut from her new team next year? Will the other parents in this group put their foot down and say, "No, we came here in a package deal and we'll leave together if we have to!" Based on their loyalty factor...I doubt it.

Anonymous said...

I know from personal experience how awkward that sideline use have been last night. Kudos for showing up and playing. My heart goes out to the girls who truly dony understand stand why this happens. Hope all the girls find happy soccer homes.

anyone know the Americans/Copa result today?

Anonymous said...

Saying your better than this age group MF isn't really impressive

Anonymous said...

"Saying your better than this age group MF isn't really impressive"

Exactly the point. Why go there, pay more money, and be worse off?

Anonymous said...

Copa 2-0 Americans.

Any other scores?

Anonymous said...

don't know about loyalty in Brick. but brick team has been on a slow decline, over years nothing bad with that as players come and go. But yeah pump your chest again cause those Force parents just saved your bacon. Just win baby!

Anonymous said...

Barons over Freehold 2-0

Anonymous said...

NJX win again 2-1 over Jackson!

Anonymous said...

Exclamation point?

Oh yeah said...

9:47 Are you serious?!?!?! Yeah!!! That's what I'm talking about!!!!!!! THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I have to say NJX parents are very classy! Very nice!I Thank you! and this isnt sarcastic

Anonymous said...

NJX parents are the worst. Horrible people, so nasty to players from the other team.

Anonymous said...

My grandma can beat Jackson. NJX is in a low level bracket this season. Their schedule is mild at best. They better come out on top. Jackson, Wall, Toms River. Enough said. But honestly, there's never been a problem on their parent sideline. They are decent. Where does that nonsense come from? Stirring the pot with lies.

Anonymous said...

Someone always has to stir the pot. I never had any issues with the parents. They are actually very nice to talk too. So go find another team to talk about.

Anonymous said...

This blog is hitting new lows the past week.

WTF - a lot of you are just nuts.

I think the best quote for the week:

Parent to 20 year old daughter, "he do you remember that soccer game when you were playing u13," Daughter, "who cares, I'm going out"

Reality - "Mom, I remember playing, but I really enjoyed the time we got to spend together going to my games and practices, thanks for supporting me!"

Anonymous said...

"don't know about loyalty in Brick. but brick team has been on a slow decline, over years nothing bad with that as players come and go. But yeah pump your chest again cause those Force parents just saved your bacon. Just win baby! "

Point out one instance where anyone is "pumping their chest". I see where people have stated obvious facts (to people who are actually knowledgeable about particular situations)but no bragging. Sounds like more sour grapes coming from somewhere.

12:24am --- Has to be the Brick coach

after U14 the top town teams will find themselves in this position; parents of the non core girls (8-15) on the academy teams will wake up and realize what a waste of money/time and will turn to top town teams again (probably not their own town but the top ones). Then these coaches will be faced between taking on/playing the flood of new girls while maintaining the girls which they had over the years.

Unfortunately these leagues will not allow these top town teams to play as its bad for business.

Anonymous said...

Not sure where you are getting your info but 8-15 on a real top team is not a bad place to be. 16-22 on the other hand, can be difficult. Speaking from experience it seems at the older age groups, there is a lot of jumping from team to team for players looking for that perfect fit. They can't seem to find it, hence, little stability from year to year.

Anonymous said...

It is sad to see how the americans gave up everything. They used to be a healthy solid team. Losing with tsf and copa ( two mediocre teams , copa better than tsf) shows they do not care about playing and lots of girls are already gone

Anonymous said...

12:16 why don't you tell us which team you are from so we can see if your team is 'mediocre'?

I wouldn't call NYSC a mediocre team... And TSF only lost 1-0 to them. Copa tied them 3-3.

Americans best players are still there. Yes it's sad that they are breaking up but don't use that to criticize others when you don't really know the truth.

Anonymous said...

If teams are breaking up where are these players going? Anyone know?

Anonymous said...

PDA and MF. Natural evolution.

Anonymous said...

"PDA and MF. Natural evolution. "

If you like paying more money for no good reason, then, yeah.

Anonymous said...

If the Americans, STA and Force are all losing kids. How are they filling the roster for Delco? B team, new kids, playing with a small roster ...... ?Are they all in for a long weekend?

Oh yeah said...

You know what they say...

"The pitch is always greener on the other team."

Anonymous said...

Wow Americans 4 NYSC 1 How did that happen?

Anonymous said...

Well that probably hands Copa the division. Great spring for them.

Anonymous said...

What was that about Americans losing players?? Don't think so...

Anonymous said...

Looks like New Hyde Park still has a chance to take the division over COPA.

Anonymous said...

Remember all of these players are 12/13 year olds, in truth, you never know what will happen on game day. So any team can beat another team, at least most playing in the same league.

Anonymous said...

Not likely NHP can catch Copa. Look at the remaining opponents. They would need to win out against Americans, Copa, TSF and Force. Possible, but unlikely.

Anonymous said...

Score posted wrong yesterday. Americans actually lost 4-1.

Copa have 2 games left and if they win both they should take it on goal differential over NYSC.

Anonymous said...

Who will win 1st Division South?

Anonymous said...

Barrons look to take the south. Even with a Brick win over real they would tie in point but most likely Barrons have a better goal differece.

Anonymous said...

Still a lot of games for the South to sort out. Force still not out of it either. Bigger question is if those self proclaimed elite wildcats finish last.

Anonymous said...

Wildcats won't win a game in the 1st division.

Anonymous said...

Anyone have thoughts on the future of JAGS?

Anonymous said...

JAGS will be offering got soccer points. So educated guess is that the league will continue.

But we all know how it goes, JAGS was once the elite league. But someone figured out that they could regionalize the top teams, form a new league and make money doing it. Good for the top teams. Just the way youth sports works, comparable to AAU Basketball, top softball and baseball.

Anonymous said...

And in a few years someone will have a better idea hat capitalizes on the weakness of ecnl and form another league that will be the "next big thing '

Anonymous said...

Let's talk Delco predictions... how will NJ Teams compete??

Top Bracket - Americans
2nd - Copa, Force Crush, STA
3rd - Freehold, GFA, Crush, Holmdel

Let's hope all 8 of our teams can have a solid weekend against tough competition!

Anonymous said...

Hopefully Copa and NYSC don't think they beat the real American's team. Of course they'll sound off like they did. Talk about having a 4 leaf clover stuck up your butt all season!

Anonymous said...

Haven't heard anyone sounding off about beating Americans.

Anonymous said...

probably because the kids don't come here to talk just mommy and daddy that think their child is the best

Anonymous said...

Kudos to force crush if they make it down to delco intact with all the drama surrounding the team. That would, say about finishing out a commitment the proper way. I think the majority of the other nj teams have a good shot to compete well. Have no idea what's going on with Ameicans though.

Anonymous said...

Girls play soccer
Parents make drama

Anonymous said...

Only took two leaf clover to beat your team

Anonymous said...

The blog shouldn't be about drama....and we're not here to judge each other's kids and how well they play or don't play....the blog should be a resource for parents to constructively talk about development programs; what teams and coaches are right for each girl who plays soccer. Not every single girl want to play D1 soccer....it's okay if you want to stay on a second or third tier team and enjoy for what it is. But, if your daughter wants more and or has outgrown the team or the team doesn't share the same soccer IQ or mindset then there's another team out there will she will be happy. The coaches and managers take this way to seriously.....at the end of the day nothing can be stolen that doesn't want to be taken. Coaches and Managers have to take care of their players and see if individual needs are being met...if a coach doesn't care about individual needs or doesn't seem to see it and your daughter is neglected then invest your money somewhere else where you both will be better appreciated. Everyone one on the team has got want to the same thing at the same time and if players are playing because their feel parental pressure then it doesn't work. If you kid is good they will find a place regardless of the time of year.

Anonymous said...

3:07 Americans beat NYSC and Copa beat Americans

Anonymous said...

You need to pay attention. NYSC beat Americans. Pretty handily it appears.

Anonymous said...

The brain trust at EDP originally posted the NYSC score as a loss but corrected it.

Anonymous said...

When are the freehold united AAU basketball tryouts?

Anonymous said...

The EDP scores are posted by the first of the two teams playing the game. It's a single log in system
.

Anonymous said...

Trust me, Copa never beat my daughter's team. It would take an eight leaf clover to do that. Win a state cup like Splash then get back to me. These start up academies crack me up.

Anonymous said...

Where are players going, again just rumors, But some Americans players going to World Class, Some STA to PDA. Some Copa to PDA, 6 Force to Brick, 3 Force to Freehold, Jackson to NJSA, 2 Force to TRIC, a couple force to Match Fit. NJX to Wildcats, Wildcats to NJSA. etc, etc, etc,

Question is where are the players going that have been cut to make room for these players.

Anonymous said...

Def. Rumors. NJX?

Anonymous said...

LOL......now that's funny

Anonymous said...

10:45 - what team are you from?

Anonymous said...

12:15 I am no rocket scientist but its pretty evident what team he is from

Anonymous said...

11:20 - How do you know all this? I can tell you that some of that is completely false.

Anonymous said...

PDA and Matchfit will just expand their already heavy rosters thereby giving less playing time but more money for the coffers. The other teams that may acquire players probably could afford to add on to rosters.

Anonymous said...

I find it funny how the Ex-Force parents going to Brick now have to travel just a little bit farther away from their homes just to ruin yet another team with their egos. First they travel to Jackson, then further down 195 to play for the Force, and now even further to play for Brick. What's next Point Pleasant. LOL. You're running out of East Coast.

Anonymous said...

Freehold advertising for a goalie on nj.com. Thought to play at a high level at u14 without a keeper.

Anonymous said...

All of those rumors that were commented on just came from this site. Just wanted to summarize. They are just rumors, no facts. Was hopeful that all of you could provide some factual information

Anonymous said...

I hear some of the American players are looking at the Stallions. Why they would do that I dont know.

Anonymous said...

Here's what I know :

Americans to World Class - True

Some STA to PDA - One Player

Some Copa to PDA - Not true

6 Force to Brick - True

3 Force to Freehold - Unknown, but Force players did try out at Freehold

Jackson to NJSA - Unknown

2 Force to TRIC - Unknown

Force to Match Fit - At least 3

NJX to Wildcats - 2 or 3 True

Wildcats to NJSA - Unknown

Anonymous said...

Americans to stallions is true. Going because they have room for 5-6 girls and they can play NPL.

Anonymous said...

Freehold's current U12 team is looking for a goalie not current U13

Anonymous said...

"I find it funny how the Ex-Force parents going to Brick now have to travel just a little bit farther away from their homes just to ruin yet another team with their egos"

Brick coach would never let it happen. If there are problem parents, I'm sure he was told about them. If they cause a problem, out they'll go. Been around a long time now...

Anonymous said...

Search on freehold on nj.com and you will see united is looking for a goalie. They have no goalie for next year. You ae correct that the younger team is also looking for a goalie.

Funny how All comments about Brick coach refer to him like he does no wrong. Will not put up with parents (unruly), come on man, you must be kidding. He will if it means the team wins, Bottom line.

Anonymous said...

Who would want to put up with a 20+ roster at Brick? there will be a lot of unhappy parents by mid September of next season.

Anonymous said...

No more than 18 at brick.

Anonymous said...

Only the brick coach would know that, he took the bait

Anonymous said...

Or any reasonable person who knows that a town team could never carry more than 18 & keep people happy.

Anonymous said...

Also highly doubt they are adding 6 Force players as that would mean there has to be cuts which a lot of those players have been there a long time & some are not high level players yet they were still on the team so I doubt cuts.

Anonymous said...

Will be interesting to see how teams mentioned will end the season. Will Force be united enough to make a run @ Delco or is it over? SJEB can they end strong by winning EDP Cup? Will Brick gave enough to challenge them or will NYSC beat both NJ teams? What about the Americans? Where are the Wildcats???

7 players left team during season or they are losing 7 players from the team for the Fall? Team made State Cup finals during all this turnover if true which is impressive.

we are all entitled of opinions of course (you like the way a team plays or not) but to be a parent with such hate it is scary ; i hope for the sake of your daughter that she never reads what you write in a blog of 12/13 years old soccer girls

No other predictions for the weekend tourney's. So if there is chance of negative comments, you hear crickets on this site!

Anonymous said...

This weekend will be exciting and make or break for many teams trying to make a dent in the region. Nj can make some noise in the third tier but it depends on many unpredictable factors. Copa Crush and Blue Blaze are not as likely to do well because of their brackets and their ability. Nothing against them however they are in it really deep with regional competition. NJ should have somebody finish at the top or at least make the semis. Are there any other game outside of Delco and EDP?

Anonymous said...

Have the wildcats done a tournament this year?

Anonymous said...

No!!!! Wonder why??

Delco Predictions

Wildcats would first have to spend some of those fees which would never happen - keep it in his pocket. Second, they would risk being exposed as only making lower flights and then losing them. Too risky. Bad enough they had to play a published standings league where they will be last place.

Anonymous said...

Top flight of Delco:
The best two teams in the tournament are in the same bracket - Bethesda and Dallas Kicks. Shame that Delco has them playing in preliminary round…they should have met in the Final.

Anonymous said...

When will people see the Wildcats for what they really are which is a made up academy where they take your money & don't give you the exposure you would expect for that money. Will finish in last place in EDP & relegated to the 2nd flight next season. NPL team is funny to me. Real joke is to the people that drink that Koolade.

Anonymous said...

10:42PM 5-21-2014

Why do you worry so much about what others are paying the academies.. its not your money, and if a parent feels it is a good investment, it is not your concern.
You want to worry about money??
Write your congress and senate and tell them about the
17 trillion dollars they have gotten us in debt!!
That will keep you busy for a time.

Anonymous said...

People can spend their own money anyway they see fit but don't spend believing one thing only to find out what everyone else knows. Educate yourselves before you spend.

Anonymous said...

I also heard not everyone pays the same @ Wildcats. Ask other parents & you'll be surprised!!'

Anonymous said...

Why doesn't MF play in many tournaments? My daughter was offered a spot for the fall. Not sure if we should. Hearing many negative things. Advice please?

Anonymous said...

Your daughter & 22 other kids. Total money grab at this age as that team is weak & doesn't do a lot so they can pocket more money. Time to wake up people!!!

Anonymous said...

Thought so! That's what I have been told. Also can see that they are struggling. I heard they have 22 now that they told but some still didn't ans. like myself. Coach said they will probably roster 24.. Crazy at U14. Thank You!

Anonymous said...

From reading this blog doesn't look like the Wildcats would be a good move either. Went to tryouts. Wasn't very impressed.

Anonymous said...

MF will roser 24-25 by fall. That means 6-7 won't dress for a game or be invited to tournaments. If you think the decisions made regarding those choices arent littered with favoritism and secret donations... think again .

Agree with poster above. Don't believe it? Read thru the 14-15 age group blog

Most if not all ECNL teams roster at least 24 players. Much like the Academy teams on the boys side. Very normal, how come no one is questioning what PDA is doing, they will have at least 25 or 26 on the ECNL team. And yes only 18 will suit up for a game of tourney on any given weekend.

What you have to figure out is, where will your daughter fall in the pecking order? If she is in the top 6 - 8 players she will always be included in every game and every tournament. The rest are in the mix and will share time. For U15 and above, ECNL is not a bad place to be, if your daughter has aspirations of playing at the next level.

So whether it be at Match Fit, World Class, PDA, FC Bucks, ETC., you should get very good training and every player should compete every single training session and game, so your daughter should improve. It is really a personal decision, and those that bash these programs have a hidden agenda, and personally I don't get it.

Those that choose the other clubs that are making claims that they are an academy, that too is a personal choice. But check on the money aspect, do your homework, you may not be getting much value for your dollar. That being said, many of these teams are very good, with good coaches and trainers. But many look to grow their rosters to add more money to the pool and this will enable them to offer players that couldn't afford it to play for the team. Or top players to play for free to improve the team. That is just the way it works. They are a business and they have to win to draw in the players. That is the bottom line, yes they may want to develop players, but their first priority is to make money to support the business. they are not zero sum programs.

Good luck to all, I hope that you make the right choice for your daughter and she excels wherever she may choose to play!

I have yet to hear one good response as to why-other than money-these clubs roster so many players ?

It is a business!

MF training is highly overrated. Have two daughters who played there. Training much better on current team.

Parents want there kids to play to play ECNL,they think that's the place to be,so they will pay,the academy's will be glad to take it.

Meant training is much better on my daughters current team. Coach on current club team said lid is 18 rostered players.
(we left MF)

Bottom line is this. ECNL is fine if your kid is at or near top. And if she eats, sleeps and breathes soccer as well. If not, take little Mia to a team that gets accepted to the best tournaments. Then take Mia to college camps as she gets a little older...they are usually in summer. Be aggressive in marketing her, even with all that, most players right now In this sport will not be playing it by the end of high school by their own choice, . Life happens.

I would say PDA isn't being discussed because they excel. MF is not good... Not much player development there.

PDA puts out successful teams where MF will take anyone to have a team.

So does anyone know whats going on with PDA Shore? I do know that U15g will be D.G. NJSA Bulldogs. I havent heard of any other age group being put together?

No one cares, a non starter at this age group. DG should have stayed with Cedar Stars

First thing a PDA coach will tell you is we are NOT looking for players to develop. We want the ones that are already there

"First thing a PDA coach will tell you is we are NOT looking for players to develop. We want the ones that are already there"

Then why call it Player DEVELOPMENT Academy?
False advertisement and QUITE misleading, no?

Will be at PDA this weekend with older daughter at 15. Top 2 college showcase event in country and there will be hundreds of colleges there. How is it that clubs like Crush and others that talk about being great, don't have a single team attending? Crush u15 was their only decent team and was strong at one point. There are many others that I was shocked that are not coming. Should be an awesome weekend for those coming and we will be playing the best of the best and 15 minutes away.

There are hundreds of college coaches at a number of college showcases all over the country both ECNL and non-ECNL. PDA is a good one for sure, good luck!

You people are idiots, you don't have a clue. The Brick team is now the PDA Shore team, and that is why the Force kids joined him.

I love how people take credit for "developing" talent and also those that criticize a team for acquiring an already talented player.
If you think a player becomes special because of the coach or team they play for, you are an idiot. Individuals make themselves better through hard work and a love for the game, and their parents job is to make sure they are in an environment that is not going to screw up obvious talent.
Don't give clubs like PDA credit for developing teams and having success because they do have significant talent, but don't pretend that other clubs are "developing" players any better than they do.

great now PDA can have two teams in JAGS at this age.....good luck with that......

Anonymous said...

Agreed. Although I may not be big of PDA they get it done. However other teams get it done too just not in the same numbers.

Who cares about Brick, the coach is on here often. Post something about them and he responds very quickly. He couldn't be the coach if they moved to PDA, that is why they are staying where they are, and BTW, he was circling like a vulture when he heard that the NJ Force team was in trouble, he made the calls and brought the players to his team. Don't believe anything different. How many is he cutting from the team?

A lot of inaccurate information on this blog. I brought my daughter to the PDA Shore tryouts & my daughter got a call back in which the Brick coach ran the tryout while the Director of coaching for PDA girls talked to all the parents in which he stated if they put out a team that the Brick coach was going to be the coach of the team. We then got a call a week later saying they were not putting out a team. I don't know why the Brick coach decided not to go there but I thought about calling him to see I there was room on his team after hearing all the good things I heard from PDA & other people but reading the blog about all these players he is picking up decided not to but with all this misinformation on here maybe I should. I won't say what team my daughter plays for so you crazy people can start attacking her team too. Sounds like a lot of jealousy & trouble making on here. Get your facts straight before you go on like you know it all. Maybe no one from the Force is going there like Brick is not going to PDA or so & so is not merging or folding etc.

Why not contact him? They are always looking for quality players/parents. And you're absolutely right not to believe everything you hear.

Here is the Brick coach again! This guy must receive alerts from every post on this blog.

Fact at least 6 players from NJ Force team are going to Brick, it is a done deal. Probably part of the reason that he didn't move the team to PDA. His hopes were that many players would show for tryouts and save his team (using the PDA letters on Jersey. The former coach of the NJ Force team bailed him out. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't call every top player from that team.

They are a team of athletes actual style of play leaves a lot to be desired. Funny how PDA shore was taking a page from Match Fit, trying to bring an entire team to the club.

Next year will be the final year for the Brick team.
